Animal Crossing: New Horizons has become one of the Nintendo Switch's best sellers, only a few months after launch. Every kind of Animal Crossing merchandise has been selling out, from the LE Switches to the Amiibo Cards introduced in Amiibo Festival on the Wii U. It would be a no-brainer that more companies would try to sell different kinds of Animal Crossing merchandise.
It seems that Build-A-Bear is teasing a new collaberation between them and Nintendo, with an Animal Crossing line in Build-A-Bear. Build-A-Bear has done serveral collaberations between them and other franchises previously. Most notably Disney's Star Wars, Girl Scouts, and even Nintendo's own Pokemon. Build-A-Bear has been using these collaberations to build up a reputation in order to reach out the bigger and better companies about their franchises. Nintendo has been licensing their IPs out to manufacturers like Power-A and Hori for Switch Accessories for a while now, and with the previous collaberation between the media giants, it seems likely that the two may do another collaberation, especially for the smash success that is Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
Some fools may say that this is just a poor social media intern who's words were taken out of context or that a large social media brand would never tease something through a reply, but that's wrong. This is coming. Don't make me doubt it. Let me have this.
